THE TAO 夢幻響
The creation of DRUM TAO was inspired by a performance named "MYSTERE" in Las Vegas 30 years ago. That day, the challenge to "create a world-class entertainment using Japanese drums" began, and since then, close to 10 million people around the world have watched us perform.
The idea was that of a musical while also like a circus. The style was named "J.DRUMS MUSICAL", and four years later, in 1997, the production called “TENKYO” was born.
Since that time, TAO has continued to create new productions yearly, and to celebrate TAO’s 30th anniversary this year, we asked ourselves: How would we express and perform "TENKYO" today?
This year, "TENKYO" will be reborn in a completely new production the like of which nobody could have ever imagined before. Get ready to be awed by the ultimate performance!!
